Nice to hear him talk about him like that. Im so used to ocs not use offensive skill players propey in dallas.
Ive been waiting a long time for no zeke.Cowboys backfield is going to be so fun to watch this year.
Well, he's 40 ...I have absolutely no idea why anybody would want John Kuhn on their roster in 2023.
I also don't really think Luepke is much like Kuhn.
Right…..so you guys know more than MM about both players?Agree with both statements.
Of course not. I’d like to hear the discussions when the coaches compared the 2. Kuhn was essentially a blocker who once in a blue moon got the ball and tripped over his own feet for 2-3 yards. I’m hoping Leupke has more to offer than that. We’ll see…Right…..so you guys know more than MM about both players?

I think he has a chance at OROY if they let the kid play.Deuce is playing every game if I'm making the call. Rico Dowdle is just a guy.
And better resultsLuepke. Same duties as Zeke. 1/100th the price.
What kind of Rico Dowdle guy are you?Deuce is playing every game if I'm making the call. Rico Dowdle is just a guy.
Do you really think you know better than someone who actually coached both players?I also don't really think Luepke is much like Kuhn.
Just as long as they aren’t saying POOOOOOOOOPHe is going to be a popular player with the fans. The way you could always hear MOOOOOOOSE you will hear Luepke's nick name.
Do you really think that comparing him to Kuhn is more than just a talking point?Do you really think you know better than someone who actually coached both players?
Pollard is a 12-15 carry back. Dowdle will spell him, and Deuce will be a 3rd-down type of back and can play in two-back sets. Luepke plays a short yardage/fullback/tight end role.No knock on Deuce, but my actives at RB would be Pollard, Dowdle and Luepke. I see both Dowdle and Vaughn as No. 2 backs that would spell Pollard, and Vaughn isn't needed for the time being as a returner. Luepke would get on the kicking teams and could be used in short-yardage situations and as a fullback on some downs. Of course, we may activate all four early on and give both Dowdle and Vaughn some snaps in place of Pollard. More RB by committee, with Pollard being the committee chair.
Yes, it's possible that we carry all four in order to not overwork Pollard. It's just hard to carry multiple backs to games who only get a few touches unless they contribute heavily on special teams.Pollard is a 12-15 carry back. Dowdle will spell him, and Deuce will be a 3rd-down type of back and can play in two-back sets. Luepke plays a short yardage/fullback/tight end role.
These are some versatile guys that can't just be summed up as "running backs". They're all useful in different ways.
I can see formations where Pollard, Duece, and Luepke are on the field at the same time in different roles.
No way we suit up 4. Seems crazy considering some of our situations at other spots where you need multiple bodiesI wonder if they will activate all 4 RBs? Either sit Hendershot, an OL, or a WR depending on the matchup?
Deuce and Luepke can provide some nice mismatches in certain situations that may prove more valuable than an extra skill position player or emergency OL.
If Luepke can handle significant H Back snaps, then he serves as both RB and TE in certain looks. Will be interesting to see how he develops, but Deuce’s speed is to valuable to sit on the bench IMO.
We need big play guys on offense, and WCO is perfect for players who can excel at RAC after a short, high percentage catch
Stop itI think he has a chance at OROY if they let the kid play.
I wouldn't be opposed to that.No knock on Deuce, but my actives at RB would be Pollard, Dowdle and Luepke.
