McCarthy making no excuses for the short week

Remove all of the convenient excuses beforehand and all that's left is the job to get done.

Playing these games three days in a row, it was never going to be a level playing field when it came to the amount of rest each team got. Since the Cowboys play the last Sunday game, there is no difference between this and the regular season MNF schedule when teams play on that night. They played 3 games in 12 days during the regular season so it's not anything unusual for them.

I haven't heard any players comment but seeing that this MNF game was THE playoff game of the weekend regarding ratings, I think they're just fine with it. And this game will be the top rated one of this weekend, even higher than BUF-CIN.

For fans that were around for the early 90's games between these two teams, this is going to be a special game and I am excited to see those uniforms lined up on that field again.

And next week we will have one less day than Philly or the Gents as well.

Yes. Your comment is wrong. It is a short week. The same as any other for a team playing on Monday night.
