I’m not a Dak fan in the slightest and his arrogance gets under my skin, but McCarthy gets his share of blame for this clown show as well!! His schemes are always so predictable and he’s too soft on his players. He coaches scared when the other team punches us in the mouth first and I think he lacks the intensity this team needs!! This was pretty obvious against GB. Many of us were screaming for him to be fired then. Yet here we are.

It's his last year barring a miracle. They should begin the search now. Any young kids under Shanahan or McVay that can come in and be HC or at least an OC?

Nah, Extend him for 4 years. Why bring in another coach that is set up for failure with this team as it is now. Just let him ride or die!

Firing McCarthy is not only the RIGHT decision , it is also the ONLY decision left for Jerry to make . The Salary cap pretty much tied to Dak and some others and no space for any big moves .
even tanking won’t work as Dak is here for 4 years..

Somehow, Vrabel doesn't have a HC job, and curiously we have an old dinosaur as our DC who apparently needs 17 weeks to introduce a new scheme to these deadbeats....good times

McCarthy will be the coach the rest of the season unless this season goes completely down the drain. He should have been fired after the Green Bay debacle. He’s not the answer and no coach will be as long as the Joneses are running the show. We see the same issues with the team with every head coach.
