Rosen would be ideal. He's had a ****** run of coaches thus far and can play.

But likely, we're looking at a vet backup with a ton of experience who can step in for a couple plays if needed.

I don't see anything out there that we could bring in that would be an improvement over the rookie at this point. We will see. Maybe Miami is ready to role with Tua and we can grab Fitz for a little bit of nothing. ha ha..

Not sure what the PS rules are as far as payment. I thought PS players made less that those on the active roster. It would be bad for a team to protect a player and pay PS wages when another team is willing to add to the roster and pay more. The difference could be around $500K. I guess the Giants and Bucs could up Rosen's and Thorson's pay to match being on the roster.

Giants and Bucs could protect just to force a trade and receive a late round pick.

Players would much rather be on a roster than a practice squad so Rosen and Thorson might have a say and ask the team to not protect them.

Definitely need a 3rd QB. Never know when the virus could hit or some injury. They may even add two, one for the roster and one for the PS. Kizer or some other player not on a PS might be a PS addition and Rosen or Thorson to the active roster.
