He said that Cooks will lineup like most WRs in the league do, not exactly handing over the playbook here.

And some coaches are excellent at standing at the podium answering questions and saying absolutely nothing.

Like Bill belichick for instance but he has too many super bowl rings for anybody here to take him seriously

If we establish a run game then our play action game will be deadly. More options and Gallup will be much improved. Add in a draft pick or rookie from last year step up and we are going to roll.

i did not expect anything different.
I'm just hoping we have such a route tree and scheme that it forces mismatches, and opens pass game for others as well as the QB. (rub routes, bunch formations, etc.)

Not complex but not simplistic either.

Sorry i'm just not a fan or confident of Gallup's routes. His sloppy hideous routes, single handedly causes a lot of Dak Ints.

Usually I am in agreement with comments like this and especially when it's the Jones boys, but how is it pertinent here? How can what he said be leading in any way whatsoever with regards to who we might draft? If anything he made about as vague of a comment as you can about how Cooks will be used

Doesn't all the gnashing of teeth need to come after you know what the offense will look like? If they are planning to change the offense away from the Kellen Moore/Jason Garrett debacle, and to something else - and I have heard here, and other places, it may look more like the West Coast, I cannot confirm that - then the pundits on this message board and their jocularity could be well misplaced.

For me the big questions are, can Cooks get separation? Can he get deep and stretch the defense? If the answer to both of those questions are yes, then where he starts when the ball is snapped is of no concern.
