I'm guessing he'll get another chance immediately (Bills, Bucs or Browns )

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy’s job security has been a story all season, but the final chapter may have begun with Thursday night’s loss in Seattle

McCarthy isn’t any good.

He has only won a single super bowl, while having the best QB in the league playing for him for over a decade.

That isn’t good enough

True but a SB ring will have teams knocking on your door when he becomes available for sure.

What’s ironic is no head coach has ever won a SB won a SB as the head coach on two teams.

There’s a reason for that and Sean Payton lovers should figure it out.

Rodgers is an underachiever and the way that team has been put together with a half *** running game until A.Jones got going this season seems like a GM problem. Ty Montgomery? come on.

They haven't had a 1000 yd rusher in 5 years since E.Lacy

McCarthy's success came from a mostly weaker division until the last few years.
AND...he benefited from the refs in a lot of games, especially against us in the playoffs.

You gotta get results and when Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers are your QB's and you only have 1 championship to show for it then you belong on the hot seat.

Management deserves some blame too for doing the same thing they did with Favre and ignoring the Oline & run game with Rodgers.

Exactly.

That's why I take McCarthy if he is released.

Good coach.

Better than Jason but he is just an above average coach who I wouldn’t want here.

If he only got one Super Bowl win with Rodgers (who is one of the best QBs in the league) I highly doubt he will get one with Dak.

I’ve always said AR has carried this chump and that he sucks. For some reason, I would catch a lot of hell for saying that he sucks since “he” won a Super Bowl. These are the same people that probably support Gruden.

Sometimes it’s the coaches that help win games for the players or vice versa. With him, it’s the players. If some of you want to talk about JG wasting Romo’s career (which I disagree with), take a good look at McCarthy. He may have the best QB to ever play the game, plenty of talent all around most years and while he does have a SB, I would say he had very little to do with it himself and has ruined several Packers seasons. He’s clueless, literally. Thanks to him, we almost came back in 2016 when GB should have beat us by about 30.

Honestly, he makes more head scratching decisions than JG and that’s not easy.

best QB in the league for over a decade???
that'd be Tom Brady in my opinion.
5>1.
Over the last decade Brady has won the most because he has a better coach
Pure QB ability I think AR is a better player

Indeed.

McCarthy is an overrated coach.

Yup and Brady even recently said that. AR throws at least an equivalent if not better ball (granted, last night he screwed up in some key situations but so did Brady against Buffalo a few weeks ago) plus he has 10X the mobility Brady has ever had and can make things happen with his feet.
