Definitely serious. They were asking Parsons about the injury in the lockeroom and Parsons almost broke down. Said Overshown was like his little brother

9 months will be the middle of Sept.

Not sure how much we will be able to count on him next year.

Could be like Pollard and never be the same. Speed is a big part of his game.

Probably a grade 3 ACL and MCL sprain, which are complete tears. Might have the meniscus involved too.

Yup and it will take up to two months to have the surgery. That knee will have to regain normal motion and the swelling to subside first. He won’t see the field in 2025

Two ACL’s in 2 years is bound to affect his ability to return to form. He could have become a great player, but it’s not looking good. He can’t stay healthy.

Maybe we get some DT's so he does not have to take on offensive guards. Just an idea.

Liafau has shown some flashes but we are going to need another LB'er or two in FA and/or Draft. Overshown might be able to play a year from now but this probably kills any chance of him becoming a break out super star..bad legs.

I would love to see the numbers on these kinds of injuries on real turf as opposed to AstroTurf. Seems like the AstroTurf has caused a lot more of them to me.
