Seems like every tweet regarding the Smith duo is being tweeted in code or is it just me lol. Like can someone just form a straight-forward sentence about them playing/not playing

This one seems pretty cut and dried. Tyron & Tyler practiced in "the mock game" today and are expected to be be in the walkthrough practice on Saturday. Wilson is planning to "do more" Saturday and may play in the game on a limited snap count.

Well it's just not straightforward because they don't know yet.

The Giants will then match up their new tight end up against Wilson.

Consider the sources of the tweets -- different reporters putting out there interpretation of the scenario = what will happen...but all state it's coming directly from the head coach.
Three guys stated the Smiths' ability to play Sunday night depends on what they do in Saturday's practice\workout.
But a fourth guy reported the Smiths were part of a "mock game" today (Friday), and are planned to participate in Saturday's "walkthrough".

As per NFL rules, teams have until 90 minutes before kickoff to declare a player eligible for the game.
With today's tweets from "the reporters" - all the updates are at best murky - and at worst being deceptive.
Just tune in to NBC at the start of their telecast Sunday evening to finally find out which players are in or out.

NFL teams are REQUIRED to report every single little ticky-tack injury - no matter how minor. It's wise not to overreact to minor injuries, because most of the time it won't keep players out of the games. Like McCarthy said, if they practice Saturday, they'll play on Sunday - barring an injury in the pre-game warm-ups.

This issue has been a topic of conversation all off season. It seems Jerry, so intent on getting the defense fixed, he ignored the offensive line.

Games are won in the trenches. How many more years will Jerry turn a blind eye toward Tyron Smith and roll the dice that this player can go on game day? When he's right he is a great asset. But, when was the last time he played all sixteen games?

This season will live or die with this offensive line.

So, bringing in 2 rookies and signing a veteran free agent is ignoring?
