Wilson playing on a snap count seems dumb, when it's a position with good depth.
He's got to play snaps to get ready for the season. You don't get many padded practices during the year anymore so easing a guy in is about the best you can do

Dr Jerry didn't sound too optimistic about them playing.

Assuming the worse, all is not lost. many teams have started the season with a day #3 rookie on the O-line. Last season rookie 6th round pick Trey Smith started all 17 games for the Chiefs. Chicago also had a 5th round pick on the O-line play all 17 games. Perhaps we discover something really good about Asim Richards and a negative turns out to be a real positive.

Edoga does have some game experience, he has started 13 games during his four years in the league.

I agree, it not optimum by any means, but it's not like they are only going to roll out 9 players on offense.

So Chuma at LT or Asim at LT? I think I prefer Asim but they better get him some help against Thibodeaux or he will repeat the beating Chaz Green took against the Falcons a few years ago.

So, bringing in 2 rookies and signing a veteran free agent is ignoring?
Yep. because building a line is an every year issue. They had the opportunity to draft a guard, which moves Tyler to tackle, yet they didn't. We can debate this all day long, but if the line does not protect and create holes, this team's offensive numbers will shrink.

They did draft Asim Richards and they did sign Bass. Both looked good in camp and made the team.

Right now I think Tyron has a better chance to play than Tyler. A rolled ankle is a lot easier to deal with than a hammy, just tape it up super heavy. My concern now is the wet field. It might lead to problems with the ankle.

It's worst, not worse.
Ha-ha, you are right, take two points off my grade.

"Worst", a superlative adjective, should be used when comparing more than two things and in this case we are talking about multiple possibilities with the one I'm discussing being the worst.

Thank you for the correction.

just twisted his ankle. He will play.
Hope you’re right, doubt he’s the only guy that makes the official injury report on a twisted ankle.

Regardless, we’re sitting here all year hoping he’s healthy bc the consequences of his absence looms just as large as it ever has.
