That’s actually not true. Jaguars actually we’re shutting down the run on first down starting in the third. The Jags just defended the run better on the early downs, forcing longer third downs.

If you look at the play by play, it’s probably around a 50/50 split.

We had 30 ish yards rushing in the 2nd half of the game. They definitely shut it down.

After having almost a hundred in the first half.

We had 30 ish yards rushing in the 2nd half of the game. They definitely shut it down.

After having almost a hundred in the first half.

The second half we had like 3 times in a row when we had the 3 receiver bunch on the right side and ran the ball. We had no gain the first two times and then Kellen called the exact same play the 3rd time also for no gain. Why continue to call the same play that's not working out of the same exact formation?

Not even close to being a similar situation. The pass to Harper was on first down, not third down. Second, the pass was a 15 yard throw with Irvin as a second option on curl - both of which were higher percentage throws than a 9 route toward the sideline. Third, there was over four minutes remaining in the game when the Cowboys had possession, and was not one where three running plays were going to end the game, or leave the 49ers with no time to potentially score a touchdown.

Dak biggest problem is pocket awareness. If he can figure this out he'd be a much better q.b. And sometimes like Mahomes or Allen yo just have to take off and say I'm winning this with my legs. A lot of time it's tons of green in front of Dak but he's still trying to throw versus just taking the 15 and sliding.
