We're in trouble. I said earlier this year when fans were praising McCarthy wait until the playoffs. Coaching matters in the post-season. We'll learn about McCarthy's coaching prowess starting with the game against the Buccaneers. He MUST give us some advantage, or it's one and done.
This.
Everything else is window dressing. The guy was hired on the basis of a past SB winning resume and consistent playoff success.
He was not hired to win regular season games or division championships.

He either proves he is a gameday difference maker in playoff preparation, strategy and motivation or he doesn't.

If he can't get his team to achieve playoff success then he should be replaced.
Period.

The last guy accomplished as much.

This is the second year in a row that the Boys have limped to the finish line and now it's on to the playoffs with a team that is not motivated to perform. It's time to dump both MM and Prescot because they both suck the energy out of this team! Chubs stands at the podium with nothing good to say and Prescot who has morphed into WENTZ 2.0 as he stands at the podium week after week whining and crying about his play! Time to cut bait of both of these LOSERS!
I'm not ready to cut bait, but the honeymoon is over. So many fans on here are just enamored w/ the 12 win total, they're not looking at how we are entering the playoffs playing bad football for the second year in a row. Isn't this what McCarthy was brought here for?

McCarthy is average
Expect nothing better from him
He needs to be more hands on w/ his job. The guy earned a reputation for being an oaf in Green Bay, I'm starting to see glimpses of it here in Dallas.

I'm now going back and remembering Jane Slater's kerfuffle w/ McCarthy last year about players wanting more coaching and players telling her "off the record" that he doesn't do much. That was an early red flag a lot of us ignored b/c we were just ecstatic to have Garrett gone but I'm noticing w/ some of this guy's comments that he doesn't really have a firm grasp of this locker room.

Postgame presser asked about the team possibly not being motivated because of the slim chances the Giants backups beat the Eagles, “I don’t know, they’re human. If I knew that I wouldn’t be standing here.” Does he not know he’s the head coach and it’s on him to make sure this mindset doesn’t creep into the locker room.
Big Mike is coaching for his job next week. He has a week to figure it out or he is history.

I always had the impression in GB he was hands on with the offense .

I don't think so. He has the injury excuse and Jerry isn't paying the rest of his contract to sit on the couch and eat bonbons.

A request was made of him via Dak when he was hired to keep the offense intact. I think b/c of that he has let Kellen control a vast majority of the offense. Dak doesn't want to learn a new offense at this stage of his career, especially a complex West Coast scheme.

I don't think so. I read a long, detailed story about him being an idiot and Rodgers and receivers ignoring him. Similar to how Romo ran the offense with Garrett.

If you go back to MM coached games in GB the man had the play sheet in front of him and seemed to be calling plays ? It looked that way every time the Packers played Dallas and never lost . Was always in conversation with Rodgers .

When Jerry hires a coach but tells the coach who the OC will be ( Jason & KM ) with Wade and MM it’s terrible . Let the man pick his staff his philosophy .
