McCarthy sucks!

It is not JUST MM. Mike didn't put this roster together. Most of this is Garret's team and they aren't responding to the new coaching staff. On any normally run franchise, the GM would be on the hot seat and contacting a real estate agent.

LOL

Just for perspective: Belechek is 2-4 this year without Brady. The NFL is about talent and leadership on the field as much as anything.

MM never had a chance to be good. Even with Dak and the OL, this is a .500 team at best.

Look at the chump liking your post. Too scared to bet me about his good coach still being a coordinator next year @Idgit
:lmao:

But again, either Garrett can be better but it jist means they both suck. Garrett doesnt get out of that box just because of MM ineptitude as much as some people want it to be that way.

Why would you expect me to place a bet on what the Giants coordinator does with different players in a different capacity on a different team under a HC? It was just a dumb question for you to ask, so I ignored it.

You’re tone-deaf, guru. Completely clueless on the topic as far as I’m concerned. We’re witnessing right now what actual poor coaching looks like in Dallas. If you still can’t tell the difference, it’s not up to me to explain it to somebody who refuses to see it for himself.

The good news, from my perspective, is a lot of other posters *are* seeing it. And it’s pretty much exactly what I’ve said all along.

The bet was the so called good coach will be an assistant next year too. Stop being a dense coward.

Honestly, I didn’t read the post. I’m not being dense. I just didn’t bother.
No, I’m not interested. For the reasons I posted above.

Still dodging lol. Good coach goes 2 years without being seriously considered for amy HC job. Thats what I thought. Keep running your mouth. Its the only thing Garrett did well also.

I really want to know why the Cowboys have gone from mediocre to abysmal. Yes, the injuries are a factor, but they should not be getting blown out by the hapless Football Team bad.

It seems to me that the new coaching staff has a different perspective of what it means to be a professional football player. The coaching staff is probably stunned at how lacking the players are at self scouting, studying tendencies and overall preparation for opponents.

Garrett probably found it necessary to spoon feed the players every little detail on their opponent, leaving little or no time for the game plan or in game adjustment contingencies.

The players of this franchise have the check writer as their biggest fan and they take full advantage, putting in about as much work with preparation as the GM does at running football operations.

The most sad thing of all is that he will most likely return for next season. JJ will use injuries, covid, lack of offseason etc etc etc etc etc etc etc to justify him one more year at least. (unless my memory betrays me, I do not recall a 1 year gig coach under jerry)

Not taking a dumb, irrelevant bet isn’t “dodging.” I don’t know what will happen with Garrett in NY and I don’t follow that team closely enough to have an opinion. But I will keep ignoring you if you ask me dumb questions. Does that sound reasonable to you?

This is more about the players than McCarthy
:hammer:this appears nothing more than players intentionally playing bad thinking the coaches will get fired not before they will. this is where a competent FO would start to turn this organization around by cutting & benching players.

it may get so bad by january that you have to clean house on the staff as well but i'd start with the players.

If hes a good coach him being in NY is irrelevant. He'd be the top candidate like that CLOWN Trent Dilfer said last year. What changes this offseason? Shouldnt teams still be beating down his door?

What are you taking about? What has McCarthy created? He had no real off season. He has players who quit last year. I’m not putting it on Garrett. I’m putting it up on the Jones family for hiring Garrett and letting him sit for 10 years. These players never gave McCarthy a chance to make an impact. He may be in their ear daily and they are ignoring him. I’m just not putting this on a first year coach when players have basically been lazy from Day 1. Only player I’ve seen have some pride was Dak

Not buying it. It's the coach's job to motivate. McCarthy was hired to take the team to the next level. Not promptly degrade it to maybe the worst team in the league.

Maybe, just maybe, hiring a washed up coach with a track record for butting heads with players wasn't the best call.

Not buying what? The team won’t be motivated if they know they can lose, get paid and the owner will make excuses. He’s 7 games in. Stop blaming the coach in his first year and look at the tape. Guys are just incompetent. He’s having to rebuild with players who quit last year. He didn’t create this. And he won a SB. He only butted heads with one QB known for whining. As far as we know he’s busting players for being lazy and they don’t like it so they run to Jerry. This was created long ago. Was he a perfect hire? No. But I’m not jumping ship in 7 games, the injuries, etc because we have lazy players

Not buying the lame excuses. He was a trash hire to begin with. It's up to him to prove otherwise. So far he's exactly what we already knew he was. Of course we're going to blame the guy who is literally responsible.

You might if you aren’t paying attention and are reactionary. But most aren’t blaming him. Most are blaming the culture that has been in place the last 25 years, especially the last decade and that starts and ends with the Jones boys. It’s the truth. They created the monster which is the country club culture.

watched McCarthy's presser tonight... this may the dullest least animated person ever. drab, drab, drab. and he's supposed lead a team of sixty grown men?

no way he should get a second season - this one is enough McCarthy for me. move on at the conclusion of week seventeen.

Tell Matt Rhule that. First year coach, less talent, harder division and they are competitive.

McCarthy got by on Aaron Rodgers coattails, he’s average at best.
See that's where it's unfair.

Covid didnt affect the Panthers and they were able to implement their systems.

Poor Dallas. They didnt have that same chance.

That excuse doesnt work!!!!
