I honestly think Mike McCarthy hasn't been the recipient of the positive recognition that he deserves, while on this team. He might not be the most sterling example of a head coach with elite abilities, the wins for leading this team have been many. Let's also admit that it was achieved minus the crucial benefit of good management. It's quite doubtful that a questionable FO would tempt a promising head coach to join.

To be clear I like Mike. He is solid NFL coach that has proven he can win under the right circumstances. Those circumstances don’t exist in Dallas.
