I was being sarcastic a bit. It’s the turkey overload I guess.

To be clear I like Mike. He is solid NFL coach that has proven he can win under the right circumstances. Those circumstances don’t exist in Dallas.
I just look at for what it is, we all know that most coaches will not work for Jerry, so finding a decent HC like MM is about the best we can expect if we are being honest fans.

And to be clear, I'm not opposed at all to finding and improving with better coaching, but I hear a lot of speculation with BB, could he be the only possible candidate willing to work under Jerrys rule other than MM?

I'm asking because while yes there are a few nice candidates available, just not sure anyone other than BB could replace MM in that role, and I'm not sure we would see any better results quite honestly.

I honestly think Mike McCarthy hasn't been the recipient of the positive recognition that he deserves, while on this team. He might not be the most sterling example of a head coach with elite abilities, the wins for leading this team have been many. Let's also admit that it was achieved minus the crucial benefit of good management. It's quite doubtful that a questionable FO would tempt a promising head coach to join.

Exactly, imagine what he could have done here with a competent GM like a Roseman or a Lynch.

My opinion remains no. Jerry Jones and Bill Belichick have clashing mindsets, despite what either man answering questions of their working compatibility. Jones/Belichick is not a synonymous partnership like Robert Kraft/Belichick.

Kraft allowed Belichick to be a long-time de facto general manager under him. That arrangement is not something Jones would roll with in my opinion.

And I seriously doubt Belichick will take the personal concession of simply being a head coach solely for the opportunity of achieving the head coaching winning record. Anything can happen in reality but Jones sitting in his draft war room throne chair, and Belichick sitting subordinately beside him, is not something I am expecting to ever see.

Which would answer a lot of questions when MM gets extended.

Somehow, I missed that Big Mike learned Marty Ball.

So, um, how is it that he is so quick to abandon the running game?
