Why would the 8th coach since Jimmy left be “the answer” without Jerry changing the way he operates? We could hire Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry or any other HOF HC and NONE of them would succeed without Jerry backing off. With the same structure that has given us 4 playoff wins in 27 years, a new coach is just a new coat of paint on the Titanic.

What makes you think Sean can be better then MM? Jerry and sons will never give up team control. For some reason everyone seems to think Sean gonna come in here and be Jimmy or Bill. Jerry will never let that happen. Plus trading draft capital. Not happening.

I have never understood why some see such a difference between McCarthy and Payton. To me, they are both good coaches. I don't want to malign Payton by saying he's overrated. But McCarthy has been just as good as Payton, and he is consistently underrated. I just don't quite understand why McCarthy is not held in the same esteem as Payton. It's a mystery to me.

He stole Jerry's champagne. He is a Parcells disciple that left when Parcells said to leave Dallas. He needs a strong DC. If Quinn does not get to replace McCarthy, Quinn Walks. But its an easy solve, hire back the man you should not have fired, Kris Richard. Sean last hire as Saints Head Coach. He is going where Sean goes.
