Great post this guy says it all McCarthy was horrible he will make it pretty much impossible to win a playoff game call on hendershot was bogus and game would have been over and the referees pretty much just suck.

The only thing he left out was that it was totally embarrassing to have all our alumni there and the game be coached so terribly at the end

He wasn't bad.

Things he has been bad at: making ad hoc adjustments that ended up costing us. I'm not counting the Cardinals game or even the Fins game. Those two games are forgivable. Both good teams. You can't control three offensive linemen being absent the day before the game.

The offense in general was bland. He didn't begin the season playing into Dak's strengths. He didn't design the scheme around the skill players strengths. Cooks, for instance, wasn't used correctly and still may not be being used 100 percent correctly. I think you should hand it to Cooks or use Cooks in screens once or twice a game. But really scheme to get him open.

Lack of using skill players in the run-game, i.e., like San Fran.

Insisting on using Parsons at DE in the run game. Instead of a DE who's stronger in the run-game and utilizing Parsons lateral speed and size at LB to stop the run.

Not using finding a way to utilize Sam Williams more.

We could go on. But I'm an optimist. I look at what McCarthy is doing right, and I see more of that than what he's doing wrong. He's a good coach. I think we can all see that. He's even a pretty good coordinator, I'd say.

Look around the league, and no coach is perfect. Even the Great Bilichick fell off the radar.

If it's a close playoff game, you better hope for a miracle because McCarthy is always going to be a liability. In 1-score games, McCarthy was 3-0 in the Green Bay Super Bowl run but that appears to have been a fluke. For the rest of his career, he is 2-7 in the playoffs in 1-score games...with those 2 wins being against the Cowboys/Garrett

While I hated passing and saving Detroit time, I think MM was out-dumbed by Dan Campbell last night.

Cry Lions cry about the penalty on the two point conversion but you got TWO more chances. At any point did Campbell realize he could have done the smart thing and, I don't know, kick an extra point and go to overtime?

Dak needs to take ownership and change the play at the line of scrimmage if he feels Mike McCarthy's playcall(s) is a bad call. Take full ownership, Dak! Pull a Romo. Jerry will support you. Just make sure whichever play Dak changes on his own actually works.

It could be much worse. We could have Siriani as HC. MM is Vince Lombardy by comparison.
Man please don't even speak that evil. Btw any chance he's canned if giants win next week?

Unreal play call to pass there. I was in denial that it happened. Maybe still am.

What I don't get is what has happened to the playcalling? Where'd our westcoast offense go? Was it working to well?

Suddenly it feels like Garrett is calling the plays.
I did not see any rollouts....
You gotta keep dak moving.
He is much more effective on the move than as a pocket passer.
