The only way I can see McCarthy losing his job next week is if the Cowboys lay an egg like they did today. An embarrassing performance in the playoffs could cost him his job. If the game is competitive and we lose he’ll probably keep his job because we made the playoffs in back to back seasons for the first time since 06 and 07 and we’ve had back to back 12+ win seasons.

Unless Reid is leaving KC, I don’t see a coach doing a job better than what MM is doing.
He wants his team to score points so he can relieve any pressure on defense but the team the main “stars” that JJ paid just aren’t great.

Dallas has won 24 games since 2021 and Dak was the QB in 19 of those wins. I just don't see them firing McCarthy. All this love for Sean Payton yet he has almost the same exact resume' as McCarthy- one Super Bowl win despite a decade plus with a HOF quarterback (Rodgers for MM, Brees for Payton).

Jerry has talked all offseason/season that he wanted playoff success.

Thinking if the Cowboys lose in Tampa, Big Mac is done- That’s the way us fans think. I understand that thinking for sure. But this owner doesn’t think like a man consumed with winning at any cost. He could have hired several great coaches since Jimmy left. But he’s intimidated by coaches that command a room of men. Our owner wants to win- but doesn’t want to win as bad as many fans here do.
