It would be easy to state that any coach would be pretty pleased with a team that dropped 29 on the opponent in the second quarter. Especially when his team slammed the door shut on the opposition's offense after the first series.

But there was a moment after the second TD to Lamb where Dak was coming off the field, and the smile on McCarthy's face just said it all. I think they bumped fists. Dak stood up against that defender rushing him, and timed the pass perfectly, before Lamb made his cut. McCarthy may have shoved him in a playful manner.. Not the Garrett fake tough shove he used to do. Right before Garrett stuck one finger up to tell the team, "we're going for one." But McCarthy looked like he understood what he has built here. That his analytics during his hiatus away from the NFL is working.

This is my opinion.

First off I truly dislike Rodgers. I admire his skills set, but that guy is the least humble player in the league, almost rivaling Brady. Now Brady, as much as I hate to say it, earns his respect. But Rodgers poops the sheets in the play-offs more than not.

I just have to wonder if McCarthy appreciates this team he leads now. More than even the Super Bowl where he had to put up with Rodger's and his growing ego.

This team is playing loose. The last time I saw a Cowboys team playing as one like this was the early 90's. Maybe 1992, because the expectations were not there, and they just overcame every road block in their way.

McCarthy's attitude, along with his DC and OC have won these guys over, big time. I think we will see how easy going they are Sunday at KC.

But this team is beginning to believe they may be the best team in the league, player for player.

This season feels different, and in a good way.

Maybe the drought is over for all of us.

I think any NFL coach would be happy with a team full of team-first players that are also winning games.

Rodgers has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league and he and most people know it, which carries with it a certain level of arrogance and a me-first mindset for some (not all though) players.

It is one thing to think you are the best, but it is another to think your team and coaches are lucky to have you because once your mind goes there, it stops being about the team and more about yourself.

Your opening line here is all important.

There doesn't seem to be any prima donnas on this team. They are all team centric.
