Nonsense. I've read here that Garrett is the next Tom Landry.
He is trying to be the next Jimster.

But he needs to do like Jimster and make a symbolic cut like Jimmy used to do to get the teams attention.

Either RoMac or Gregory would be fine.

To not do this just underlines the same old issues that the HC in Dallas is a puppet.

McClain has $750,000 of Jerry's bonus money and he may or may not show up in shape to play week 11...

My take is, if he's cut he should only get a prorated share of the 750K based on the 6 games he's eligible to play...

I'd make that deal (if possible) and walk away from this headcase...
they get 10/17 of that money back, but they may have to wait till after week 10.

Also there are details not made public, so we dont know what they know.

I was thinking about this... it seems like he's playing football for a paycheck...
or trying to protect his body from too many hits by minimizing practices and games...

I just don't see him as a player with an uncontrollable drug habit like Gregory?

Dr Freud please us what you know about addiction what are it's symptoms?

I could find a million potheads that would give up pot for a million dollars. The problem lies somewhere else.

Part of it is people who enable them with excuses.

I gave it up for a job. Started smoking when I was 12 (not proud of that but felt the need to divulge for the sake of perspective). Quitting smoking pot is not the insurmountable task that some would make you believe. Was it hard? Sure. Just like it was hard to quit drinking Classic Coca-Cola when I was diagnosed with diabetes. Ditto for Snickers Bars and cheesecake.

I had days when all I wanted to do was light up. It wasn't worth it. I had a family and needed a job. Everyone was testing. Ironically, the job that I got (and stayed at for 11 years) didn't drug test. I didn't celebrate by lighting up. I realized that it just wasn't as important anymore. I'll still smoke every once in a while (less than once a month) and I always have some high grade stuff around the house (like to keep it for special occasions and to entertain guests) but it's no longer a focal point of my life like it used to be. People that don't stop smoking pot (for recreation) simply choose to not stop smoking. Those with a medical condition I won't speak for because I have no personal experience with that dynamic.
