McClay: Zeke is still a premier back

Remember, Zeke is going back to Ohio today. He will be extra motivated.

Two air spoons to the mouth today.

I watched a Zeke 2023 Highlights video last night. I know he got stuffed a lot but he also made some pretty nice plays. It was a legit highlight reel imo. Of course he's older now with a little more mileage.

McClay is compromised
The Dark Lord has finally turned him ...

... what ? ...

With the Cowboys O Line We don't need elite RB's. Just enough to keep drives going and wear teams down.

I love Zeke as a player.
If you need a yard, he'll get you a yard.
If you need 5 yards, he'll get you a yard...lol
But, I still like him. Dude got a raw deal early on.
All goal line 1 yarders, or 4th and 1.

"But then knowing that you have (Ezekiel Elliott). Zeke is still a premier back in the league. When you talk about short-yardage running, goal-line running, some of the things where we had problems, he gives you some of those answers. Plus his intelligence, helping the offense and doing those sorts of things. That’s a vet player that you get there."

LOL.

OK.

Bill Parcells won a Super Bowl with 33 year old Ottis Anderson with a 3.5 yard average for 700+ yards and 11 rushing TDs. Anderson was the Super Bowl MVP. That is probably what they are shooting for.

These are my exact feelings as well.

This reminds me of a certain politician telling us everything is great when we know it’s not.

Not suggesting it didn't suck but saying he got a raw deal is just whiny IMHO. Sitting 6 games didn't ruin him, he simply got older on well used tires and it caught up to him.
Whiny?...lol, whatever dude.
He was a young twenty-something kid whose
girlfriend tried to ruin him because he dumped her.
He went through a tough point where he didn't know
what was going to happen.
He had a great game against KC and a few days later was suspended despite 8 separate witnesses claiming he did nothing wrong. That is the raw deal I'm talking about.
Meanwhile Rashee Rice of KC was involved in a high speed crash and was video recorded as he left the scene.
That alone is a crime. He will play the entire season.

I'll be sure to have cheese with my whine. Except my whine will be liquor and my cheese will be on my bacon burger. You have a great day, buddy!

The stats say you lie. You know em....but you just make up this "yard or two" thing to look in the know...almost HOPING for it for the "told ya sos"

And of course the honorable "glad I was wrong" is always available, right?

We shall see which one you get to use.
Short yardage is a couple of yards, I guess you don’t get it.

Zeke looks in shape and motivated to play and like I said is doing better than many people thought he would.
I think he is also very comfortable and happy to be back in Dallas and playing with his friend Dak looks like two kids out playing in the neighborhood together.

Very enjoyable watching that type of chemistry
