It's not a question of his ability, but rather his durability. Anyway it's a great game by him and has nothing to do with Darren McFadden of all people.

I don't think it's fair to compare the two RBs at all. AP played on a superior team that competed for the National Championship every year, while McFadden is on a team that has NO pass receiving threats and a terrible QB (Yes I know, Jason White). Teams can just key on McFadden while AP was on a much more talented team

OU in 05 didn't have a real passing threat. Bomar couldn't hit water if he was on the boat in the middle of the ocean. And OU still had some young receivers and a young offensive line last year. McFadden is a really good back and will be great in the NFL. Better than Reggie Bush is. But he won't be quite as well rounded as Peterson is in the NFL. AD is better than he was in college.

Bush is a gimick in an offense. AD is a true back. If can stay healthy and not take too many big hits he will be LT like.

AP isnt on a talented team this year and he is still making stuff happen. Great backs make plays.

McFadden IMO is a little bit better prospect than AD but jeez thats not a knock on AD cause both players are future HOF's IF they are able to have healthy careers which has been a knock on both players...
