In a collision w Mcfadden in the last game of the season, Kyshoen Jarrett suffered severe nerve damage. He has lost 30lbs since the collision and there are those in the Commanders organization who believe that he will never play again.

Anyone have a clip of this? I don't remember it

Ouch. That's awful. I do remember that now

That was unfortunate. He pulled up at the wrong time and got hit under the chin in the neck area.

McFadden surprised me last year the way he finished tough runs.

Who knew that football was a violent sport? Best wishes to the young man for a speedy recovery and continued playing time.

I was also surprised to see how much "burst" Darren had, in general. He ran really well for us. If he would've been full time all year I bet he gets close to 1500 yards (assuming no injury).

Hopefully he can play again. Nerve damage and playing ability have been talked about at length's on this board over the last month.

Maybe. But nerve damage to the head/neck area is a totally different animal than what Jaylon Smith is trying to overcome.

Sad. Can't ever remember a season where we ended 2 different players careers with freak injuries.

He would have a year ago had they not decided to let Randle "the Manical" start instead.

I pray for him and his family that he'll recover. It's definitely a violent game. I would never wish an injury on any opponent. It is just a game when it's all said and done.

Side note: what stood out the most to me in the above video is how McFadden looked upset with himself that he was involved with the injury. It's obvious he hates that it happened too. To say he's a thug bc of this is ridiculous. Although, I will point out that the safety looked to have poor tackling technique which may have lead to the injury.

McFadden was a very tough runner last year.

It's always a tragic whenever a player receives an injury that threatens his career. Here's hoping and praying he'll have a full recovery.

Most conscientious players are saddened when they've caused a fellow player to get seriously hurt. I believe McF fits in that category.

Ouch, best of luck to all the players in the NFL recovering from injuries. We play this game for the fun of it knowing it's dangerous, not sure how this might have been prevented aside from a no helmet rule which is a whole new game in these type of injury regards.

After I saw the replay, I instantly remembered his reaction. Hate to hear that news.

He put another DB out of the game later on near the goal line. Darren's a wrecking ball of a power runner but has the lateral balance/movement of a drunk giraffe (top heavy).

If he'll go back into the draft the Cowboys are willing to give him a 2nd round grade.
