McFadden on tonight

McFadden IS what we thought he WAS !

Just kidding...last night was an aboration; however, even in his best games he doesn't look like a guy I'd want to use the top draft pick on. He's fast and powerful, but to me, and I'll admit I've only watched him 4-5 times in the past two years, he doesn't look like he has any wiggle. It seems they either bust him through the line, free into the secondary, where he runs through or away from people with his speed, or he gets nothing, like last night.

He reminds me of Hershall Walker, but not quite as fast. I'd prefer a guy who can move laterally and make a few moves.

So... I never really watch college football... but being on this board and all you guys talking about McFadden... I found myself looking for the game yesterday.

I didnt see much but I just assumed that it was just that.. a bad game by whole team, like you said.... an abberation for McFadden.

Its funny.... so much talk.... I had to check it out for myself... I will look for his next game.

So if not him? who? I am curious.... What about Felix Jones - whats his scoop?

Imagine that.... Julius Jones replaced by Felix Jones LOL

Actually, I can absolutely see that happening... Felix would be the shiftier, bigger-play back to Marion's thumper role, just like now.

Only Felix might be better, depending on who you read. :)

Well the talk I heard during the game was that Felix is somewhat in the shadow of McFad... so maybe you are right...

Anyone else out there? Thanks

I had redervations on him when Willis ran clear across the field and ran him down. His style may not be a great fit in NFL where everyone can run.

He is overvalued - JMO

I think Rice is undervalued and may be a more productive NFL Running back.
