McFadden on tonight

Should be watching Tashard Choice right now. If not many juniors come out, he might be a solid choice for out late 1st, or if a lot of juniors do come out, he might slip to late 2nd.

Arkansas suffers from poor QB play.

Their two best pass catchers have been out too.

Teams can put eight or nine in the box with no worries.

i have to say that the defenses played really well in this game, but Arkansas has the double-whammy of a horrible QB and putrid coaching.

how you spend most of the game without trying to utilize your 2 best players(McFadden and Jones) more, and putting the game on the shoulders of a terrible QB is beyond me. he made a great play on the TD, but other than that was horrible.

i would have McFadden throwing it if you wanted someone on Arkansas' team to be somewhat accurate.

Ark is no different that those Oklahoma Nebraska wishbone teams. Absolutely NO passing game and if they get behind or can't run the ball they are sunk. I'm lovin it myself. I know what DMac is and i was hoping for Ark to fail this year in hopes DMac falls just far enough so we can get him. He'll be fine when he gets away from that Nutt.

on ESPN at 7:15 against Auburn.

We're not gonna get a top 5 pick and we're not gonna let go of two No. 1's to move up while we have two experienced and veteran backs. And TT could still blossom. Even then, would it be a Romo or McFadden offense? i think the former.

jj is gone and turner is coming to Dallas

I'm actually liking Oregon St RB Yvenson Bernard.....and he should be available in the 3rd or 4th round.

He has nice size, nice speed, nice power. He runs well and he is one of the better receiving backs in college.

Tonight he had over 100 yds rushing with 2 TDs and around 50 yds receiving in the upset of Cal.

I like Forsett from the same game... kinda sounds familiar to an old Cowboy funning back, dont ya think? ;)

yeah i gave up on him he will probably go to denver or something. theres alot of good backs coming out or that are eligible that would be a nice compliment to barber that could possibly be had with the 15th or so pick

That's EXACTLY what I believe is going to happen. I believe Turner will be signed BEFORE the draft. JMO

THANKS

McFadden IS what we thought he WAS !

Just kidding...last night was an aboration; however, even in his best games he doesn't look like a guy I'd want to use the top draft pick on. He's fast and powerful, but to me, and I'll admit I've only watched him 4-5 times in the past two years, he doesn't look like he has any wiggle. It seems they either bust him through the line, free into the secondary, where he runs through or away from people with his speed, or he gets nothing, like last night.

He reminds me of Hershall Walker, but not quite as fast. I'd prefer a guy who can move laterally and make a few moves.

Now can we quit all the McFadden talk for a while? The NFL season is in full swing we're 5-0 and looking fantastic why must you guys feel the need to look ahead to the OFFSEASON!? It will come soon enough...

Hey, waitaminit... Those OU and NU teams were actually good.:

You know, I'm starting to think this might happen. A ton will depend on his combine and workouts, but I'm getting that feeling there will be enough doubts about him that he's not going to go #1 or #2 overall. He could be more like 6, 7, 8, or lower.

Oh, and just so the McFadden-phobes aren't too upset, this game was another chance to see Felix Jones, too. Obviously he couldn't do much, either.
