I think this comparison has been made few times and I do believe majority of people believes Run DMC is much more of impact player than Bush.

Regge Bush who had 88 catches and help lead his team to the NFC Championship game Reggie Bush, compared to a guy who hasn't even been drafted yet???...I think I will go with the proven player ...Mr. Bush

I'll agree for now, but I think McFadden has the ability to be a top back in the league. Bush might be the most agile player in the league, but he's not really a feature back IMO. McFadden will be able to do it all.

lol mcfadden is not on reggie bush's level. bush ran on everybody. look at mcfaddens stats. he beats up on them nobody teams. he had a couple decent games vs alabama and i think lsu. but in most sec games he really didnt do much.

or as this thread made because mcfadden has a shot to be a cowboy?

I want to say Mcfadden because we have a chance of getting him but Reggie Bush is a long way ahead IMO, we are looking at what Mcfadden is doing in college and saying he is a great player, if we are doing that then look at Reggie's college numbers....they are special, plus he had a really good first season in the NFL.

McFadden is an every down back that can carry a team. Bush isn't that and never will be. Everyone knows Bush brings a lot to the table, but they just aren't the same type players.

Yeah Reggie Bush was great as a rookie. Look at how many 20 yard runs he had.... Look at his yards per carry... oh wait... At least he had 80 7 yard catches. I'm not saying McFadden will be a better player, just that Bush wasn't nearly as good as everyone seems to think he was (in my opinion).

Well McFadden has the potential to be a feature #1 back, and Bush just doesn't seem to have the size to carry a full load season after season.

Wouldn't mind having either though, kinda like asking a guy to pick between supermodels, really doesn't matter which one, lol.

As of right now you gotta go with Bush.

Hes a special player and the more the season went on the better he got.

His coaches were figuring out a way to use him and he was getting used to NFL defenses at the same time.

By December he was one of the most dangerous threats in the NFL.

If your a Dallas fan how can you not have respect for Bush after what he did to our defense.

Bush is the real deal. McFadden or Bush? Tough tough call but based on what I know ill go Bush.

Well guess what? If someone like Tiki Barber can go from the size they were at and become a #1 back then Reggie Bush sure as heck can too.

Its not like this guys is going to stop getting better. There hasnt been a guy that just does everything as exceptional as Bush does.

He is a weapon in your run game, your receiving game, your return game.

1 or 2 big plays a game can change it. With Reggie Bush on your team your almost guaranteed that. With more experience it will be nothing to see this guy making jaw dropping plays on a weekly basis.

McFadden is a baller no doubt but can he make an overall impact on a game that Reggie Bush can? I dunno.

But either way your going to get a really good player.

I love Reggie Bush, but I have never thought of him as a featured back.

Only time will tell, but I think McFadden will prove to be the better running back.

McFadden can do it all too, I just think Bush is a wee bit more explosive, idk, tough call, but I'd have to go w/ Bush right now, mainly due to the fact that he's already pretty good as a Pro

idk how anyone can use Bush can't be a feature back as an argument against him, cuz isn't McFadden tall and lithe himself?

What? If there was a playoff, LSU would have won it. McFadden torched them. He destroyed Auburn. He destroyed Tennessee. He torched SEC champion Georgia in Athens in 2005. Bush was great, but he didn't face SEC defenses eight times a year. The defenses in the SEC during the 2005 season may have been the best the SEC has ever produced as a group.

good point, Pac-10 Ds aren't really anything to crow about, although Stephen Jackson is doing pretty well for himself
