Morris has been solid this year and preseason. McFadden didn't even look good in preseason.

Hmmm....really?

Game 2
McFadden: 6 for 28
Morris: 5 for 11

Game 3
McFadden: 9 for 59
Morris: 9 for 49

Game 4:
McFadden: 2 for 21
Morris: 9 for 56

So McFadden was 17 for 108, and Morris was 23 for 116. Better YPC for McFadden, yet somehow he looked bad and Morris looked good.

I don't think the season is a wash, but I would just as soon get the suspension over with. If we don't it is just going to hang over us next year too. Having Elliott isn't going to make the difference the rest of the way.

Go with McFadden. He's a decent runner, good blocker and quality reciever. He keeps the defense honest and doesn't give away what the play is, whereas Morris is not a very good blocker and a limited reciever. This season is officially riding on Dak's shoulders, with the poor defense, running game is just decent and the OL isn't as good as last year. Feels like 2013.

It's funny we go 2-3 and the appeals court drops hearing. Jerry said forget it.

If we actually had a creative offense, we'd incorporate everyone including Switzer - who the hell is New England's lead back? They use everyone.

But we're trying to replicate the Emmitt days so we need an Emmitt. Zeke was supposed to be Emmitt.

Sign Emmitt; he isn't that old. And while we are at it, bring back Herschel too.....

I would like to see what McFadden does, but i would play them both and share the snaps.

Yes at this point Id rather be done with it. If the team some how rallys I want Zeke down the stretch anyways.

We'll be able to run effectively.

We will win or lose based on the defense.

What would really piss off the Anti Dez and Zeke stans crowd is when we win 3 games without him like we did last year without Dez.

I'm rooting for both of them. Alf is a first class person and DMAC has been a first class citizen throughout his time here really. I'm behind them and I really don't think they are any slouches if the Oline gets going.

It will still be Zeke for this year. My guess is this is just a bump in the road before the nflpa refilled. Next year is an entirely different story though.

if Zeke stays suspended, it appears that it would be Morris based on DMC being "benched"
BUT its been said that they have been resting DMC in case this happened.
i like the Morris and Smith tandom. doesnt make sense that DMC just sits around though
