Guys, I'm watching the Raiders game and whoever convinced Jerry to not trade up for McFadden needs an award. MCfumbles is fumbling all over the place and has no vision. Felix is miles ahead of him. We should be lucky to have Felix!!

I really don't think Jerry needed to be convinced to not trade up and get mcfadden. That was more media and fan speculation than anything else. I doubt he ever really considered it.

actually, they look pretty well coached. they had san diego and they won last week, they have jamiscus russel, thats the problem.

Miles ahead? I don't know about that but at this point, I would be unlikely to trade Felix for McFadden straight up (but that's due more to Barber than any slight on McFadden). McFadden also doesn't have the benefit of playing behind a solid line or with a competent NFL quarterback so it's hard to gauge how good he can or can't be right now. Good running backs do their best work grinding out the clock when their team has a lead and you can probably count on one hand the number of times McFadden has had this opportunity in his career.

Don't forget that Jones is not the Cowboys primary 3rd down back because the coaching staff doesn't appear to trust him in blitz pickup. Or that he's unlikely to make it through a full season (hell, a half season would be stretching it) if the Cowboys have make him their primary back. I'll overlook the fumble against the Giants because I think it was his first career lost fumble but given the value the Cowboys got drafting Barber and Choice, Felix hasn't really lived up his draft position. The sad thing is that he's still far and away the best of the Cowboys draft pick in that range (picks 18-26) since Kevin Smith.

This may be controversial, but i'd take Mcfadden for Jones in a trade based on raw talent...I'm thinking it would be a little different if he was playing for us. Russell is garbage, and he(DMac) actually looked ok the first two games despite Russell. I don't know what was with all the fumbles. I guess playing on a offense that deprived wears off on ya after awhile. He flashes the talent, but Darren McFadden is the last thing the raiders need or should be concerned about. Their D ain't half bad, but their offense with Russell back there is horrible. He struggles to even throw for a hundred yards almost every afternoon.

My hat's off to whoever came up with the description of Oakland as 'The biggest clown car in the NFL'. Painfully apt. Every other owner has to feel good, as they know they are not the worst one in the NFL. It's got to be tough working in that disfunctional organization.
