That was a stupid move. We might as well have kept him on our IR and gave him a shot next season.
The only benefit I can think of is the Lions pay his salary but I doubt he was due all that much as a 7th rounder.
Having said that he might just be brittle. Bad accident at Wisconsin. Broke his ankle here after 6 weeks of play. Then badly injures the ankle again in TC and misses a whole season again.
It just doesn't seem like he is durable enough to survive in the league.
I wish Nagy well and wish we got another look at him next year because I really liked his potential at Center with his quickness and agility. Oh well, our best hopes lie now in Killer Kowalski recovering from whatever ails him.
