Watching the injury on Tivo again and again, I think that McNabb came down on his right leg after doing that little jump pass and then he got hit...

Sometimes when your leg is extended stright out like McNabb's was during his throw, when he came down on his right leg, it was still 'extended' and when his right foot hit the turf that is where his knee injury happened...

That's is the only explaination I can see, because it sure did not look like a hard hit out of bounds, and no other player touched, landed or hit his leg...

He'll be alright just in time for Christmas...where the Cowboys have a "special gift' waiting just for him...

Edit: My explaination is kind of like that Grammatica kicker that jumped up and down after a kick and he came down on his extended leg and hurt his knee...

Not that I agree with your mentality, but using your very own logic, shouldn't your desire for injury be directed toward next opponent. Or are you wishing Nothing but health for the Colts (again, your logic).
Right, because logic dictates that only one team stands between the Cowboys and a playoff spot.

I won't cheer for an injury period. However, it would be sort of hard for the Colts to sustain an injury when they're not playing until 3:00. Besides we're not competing for a playoff spot against the Colts, or have you not noticed that they're in the AFC?

I'm happy as **** about this. I hope he's out for the year.

No, I'm not 12 years old either. But I;m certainly I'm not shedding any tears for a multi-gazillionaire who chose to play a violent game and is paid well to do so.

If McNabb is out for the year, he'll spend seven months playing PSIII poolside outside his mansion while the butler brings him whatever he needs.

If that draws your blubbering outrage on an anonymous Internet forum, you need to reevaluate things.

Save your sympathy for true sympathic people who deserve it -- like soldiers dying in Iraq.

No kidding...Henry just torched them for a 70 yard TD run.

:lmao2: Sorry, but I have to laugh whenever the term "blubbering outrage" is used...

If McNabb is gone for the year, the Eagles are completely finished. PT, if I were you my friend I'd just go into hibernation for the rest of the season.

That said, I'm sorry he's hurt. But injuries are part of the game, and your lack of depth on both sides of the football speaks volumes about your organizations commitment to winning. I expect your trophy case to stay empty for a long, long time. The lowly Titans now have a two score lead midway through the 3rd Qtr.

who says i don't sympathize and support the soldiers?

but if you're happy someone is hurt playing basically *a game* maybe we're not the ones who need to re-evaluate things, 'eh?

sorry, you look to be 14. my bad.

Or is this coming from someone who just couldn't play football? I hold absolutely NO animosity towards ANYONE in ANY profession and don't care HOW much they make. In fact, I think that someone should be paid as much as an owner wants to pay them. It's called living in America. I hate it when people bash on people just because of how much they make. Do you do what you do for free? I think not.

Bill Gates...more power to him. He employs more people and makes more people money than most people do. I don't hope that he gets shocked by turning on his computer like it seems that you would.

Yes, those soldiers are doing their duty and doing a great job at it, but I'm not going to go comparing soldiers with football players either.

I hope McNabb has TWO butlers to get him stuff....how about that?

any update on the injury?

so far we have 3 people glad it happened, 1 not really "glad" but if it had to happen it may as well be an eagle, and the rest of the people seem to realize it's a game and while injuries are a part of it, they're not really something to cheer for.

From the replay he was shifting pressure on the knee while he was on the cart. He tore something in his knee I bet you.

Mark me up for glad the Eagles will be falling out of the wild card race.
