McNabb one and done in DC? Wanted to be a Vike all along?

So that means Favre comes back this year, McNabb next year.

I could see that playing out.

I'm not sure if musical chairs at QB is the best way for Minnesota to win though.

Who knows. Another former Eagles QB had his best years in Minnesota later in his career.

Washington could just put the franchise tag on him. I know the CBA issues and lockout talk, but i am sure the owners would still want the franchise tag.

Washington can just franchise him and trade him to Minnesota.

That doesn't mean Favre is back this year at all.

If I were the Commanders I would get on the phone right now and try and deal Mcnabb to Minnesota. Considering the situation, it would have to be a very large offer but I would still try..

Are they competing for the superbowl this year with McNabb?

Unless the answer to that question is yes then there would be nothing wrong with trying to deal him for something that you could use to better the future of their franchise.

Of course I don't see it happening but I do agree with Glory that it wouldn't be a bad thing to look into. But only if you thought there was a serious chance you'd get something done. You don't want to inquire about it, only to have it quickly fall through, and risk upsetting McNabb right before the season when he does have to play for you.

What would you rather see happen. McNabb stay with the Commanders or move on to the Vikes next season?

Go to the Vikings, both to get rid of him once and for all and also to keep the Commanders down.

I'd rather him stay. He is a liability for the Skins and an asset to the Vikes.

That's easy, go to the Viqueens. Officially ends the Favre saga.

If we could trade him for the same compensation we gave the Eagles, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Thank you....I'd rather him stay too. He's not getting better but he could put a very talented squad like the Vikes over the top.
