McNabb upset how Vick was used?

On a funny note I caught a few minutes of mike and mike on the radio yesterday and one of the guys on the show said he had never heard that word before but they kept using it over and over afterward.:laugh2:

Yeah, why do teams do that? Why do they leave the starting Qb in the game and split him out wide? Why not put another receiver in there who is a threat?

I am assuming it has to do with the rules regarding removing the starting QB from the game and re-inserting him?

I heard just the end of it on my drive to work today something about McNabb not liking how Vick was inserted into the game because he threw off his rhythm? I believe they also said he put a stop to Vick coming into the game.

I checked a few sites and could not find any reports. Anyone know if this is true? I would love to see McNabb get all butt hurt over Vick and watch the team implode

I saw last night McFlabb yelling at Vick and then going to the Offensive coordinator and making a gesture to cut it out. McNabb is a punk...it is pre-season. let him play. Do I smell a controversy already????

I hate the Eagles as much as the next guy, but I don't take from what McNabb said as what is being implied. All I got out of it is the starting QB is saying "We shouldn't force feed this new concept so quickly, when the starting unit is still having trouble getting going. Let's get our standard package down first, before we rush in with this gadget stuff".

I would like to see them implode like the next guy, but for the right reasons. This doesn't seem to be one of them.

I would agree if he kept that in house. The fact that he said it to the media is what makes people questions the motives.

In fact he starts his quote by saying, "Basically he said...". Mike, tell me exactly what he said, not your mutilated version of it.

Doesn't look like anyone has to hope for anything. Youre team is just simply going to take care of that for everyone. They should have known, given McNabb's past of being very insecure and thin skinned would lead to this possbily being a really bad deal.

Not to mention how quickly Philly fans forget what McNabb has done for their team. It was barely a year ago that a large portion of the Philly faithful were screaming for the removal of McNabb in favor of Kolb. That kid who hadn't done a single thing in the NFL. Now he's got Vick back there, backing him up, and those screams will only get worse and worse every time McNabb throws one bad pass and Vick throws a good one or has a great run.

The Eagles better get off to a SUPER FAST start or this is something the could destroy their season very quickly.
