No matter how hard I try, I just can't hate McNabb. Aside from playing the Cowboys, I honestly with him the best.

I'm currently on season 4 with The Mean Green on NCAA 2010. Hopefully I'll be asked to join another conference and get out of the Sun Belt. :)

Let's see, he's played only for the Eagles and Commanders - the two teams I hate the most. I don't seem to have any trouble.

No kidding.

That's reason enough for me.

Funny... Anthony Spencer said he'd like to end McNabb's career as a Commander too. :D

It's funny how he doesn't mention any possibility of ending his career with Washington as a champion.

That's what makes it actually mean something.

McNabb says he wants to end his career as a Commander

According to Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post, Donovan McNabb has strongly indicated that he wants to finish his career as a Commander. This of course requires that McNabb sign a contract extension show. On the Sports Junkie radio show host John Auville put it to him bluntly. I bought my kid an $80 Donovan McNabb jersey," he said. "I don't want that to be in the clearance rack in like a year."

"I feel your excitement, and I'm right behind you," McNabb said. "I look forward to being able to extend my contract and hopefully end my career here. And at this particular point, obviously there's some writing in the contract of when you'd be able to do that, but things will happen. Things will happen. And we will take our steps when the time comes and be able to handle that situation.

"You know, obviously can't communicate [about] contracts, but I look forward to getting that done. The team looks forward to getting it done. So your $80 jersey won't go to waste. I will be in Washington. And your son will wear it proudly, and we'll get you one as well."

Here's the cliff notes version:

McNabb wants to get one of those big 'Danny Snyder Overpayment Special' contracts for himself.

I didn't realise that there was even any question that he'd be ending his career as a Commander. I mean is he really going to go many other places and play at this point?

Interesting way with words.

I'm pretty sure he's gonna get his wish. Two seasons left for that clown...maybe.

:)

Meh. If he were smart he'd get the hell out of DC as quickly as possible and head to Minnesota to try to get that ring before he retires.

I think Donovan is smart enough to know the odds of that happening are all dependent on X-box.
