You can look at it three ways:

1. Trying to hype his team as the current NFCE Champs, and get the ball rolling.

2. Trying to diffuse some of the hype of the Cowboys, by saying they still have to beat us.

3. Just a random statement. Maybe he forgets the current NFCE Champs still have to come through Washington, Dallas, and NY too.

We'll I'll agree that we are at the crossroads, we haven't played very well for two games, one was a bad offense game and the other last week was bad defensively, wondering if teams have adjusted to us and what we do to counter. The big thing missing last week was takeaways--hope they come back. We miss Henry, our cb depth is supect--but so is everybody's in the NFL, I'm glad this a home game for us, maybe we roll into bye week and not limp...

Oh yeah and one more thing, I think romo quit running, there were times last two games I just wanted to see him run it, he makes some plays on his own...another comment--the player who gets no respect but ought to--the holder-Johnson his holds have been text book perfect and this is at least a part of our success with the fg, we all remember how that ended last year so it is not something that is automatic or unimportant..

..ahem.. well I don't remember anything he's done in November in December, because he only played 4 games in November and December over the past two years, 2 in 2006, 2 in 2005.

The rate he is going, he won't be getting any snaps this November/December either since Kolb will be playing.

He's right.

Philly didn't start hot last year but then thy broke off an NFC East sweep on the road. They went to Wash, NYG, and Dallas and won all 3 games. That's impressive and they should brag a little.

Personally, I don't think this team can count their chickens until we start playing divisional teams. Playing in NY, Wash, and Philly is never easy.
