Todd Mcshay just commented that we had the worse draft with no impact players. Of course another ESPN announcer said we will not know for another 2-3 years.

At least Jerry didn't feel the need to trade back up into the second in order to draft Stephen McGee. That's a positive.:D

Can anyone name the impact players we got? I think he is right. It doesn't mean the players are bad but none look like impact players. The first guy we took is a backup/sub package/special teams guy. We took a 3rd string QB and a bunch of defensive guys that can play special teams. The biggest real impact may come from the kicker if he in fact makes the team, is active on game days, and can actually kick the ball into the endzone.

There were maybe a handful of impact players in this draft. Hell, there were only a couple in the top 10 picks.

Nobody knows how anyone will turn out for any team. It's a crap shoot.

We had starters at every position, now we greatly improved the Secondary, loaded up on outside pass rushers and improved the special teams, we just didn't have that sexy pick, it was just solid.

And PS, Roy Williams is more of an impact player than anyone else we could've got in the draft.

Mcshay will be buried at ESPN once Adam Schefter comes over.

How?

McShay is being groomed to take over for Kiper in the coming years. Schefter will be a NFL 'insider' like Mort and Clayton.

Now if Mike Mayock were coming over ..

What player at #51 in this draft was going to come into this team and knock off a starter????
Jerry didn't like the players at #51 so he traded out to the third.
That was smart...Mike Mayock said this was the weakest draft he has seen in the last 20 yrs.
Just because people do not recognize players we drafted they panic...this draft was weak and the talent was very thin. We drafted players who fit our scheme and will upgrade our special teams while adding depth to our secondary,lb's and O-line.

I just got a chance to look at these guys a little closer, and I'm even more pleased with all these picks.

11 of these guys will make this team with ease. The WR might have a battle, but he can win a spot for sure.

These are the type of guys that put you over the top.

These guys are hungry, and some of them were passed over for some reasons. That is what this team needs. They need hungry, young football players who have that "I've got someting to prove" attitude.

Dallas just drafted 12 of them. I see a lot of potential.

Remember this too, Felix Jones is coming back, and he's going off. Mark my words.

Edit: Roy Williams will have a say in this draft. He was Dallas' first pick

Think about that hip, hip McShay.

You believe that?

He was brought in for ratings. People like to see debates and different point of views, not just one guy spewing his opinion. It's why ESPN also has PTI, Around the Horn, and First Take. You listen to the comments and usually side with someone that has your opinion.

Kiper and McShay go at each other to create "drama" and help ratings.
