Todd McShay put out his ranking as draft tiers today.

I'm hoping someone can link it?
(I'm on an iPad)

Not really because of the actual rankings but more to help some out there that aren't real familiar with the concept.

This is better view of how a real draft board is assembled.
His is maybe a bit broader after round one, but it shows the concept.

Maybe this will help a few that haven't seen this understand that BPA also relates to tier, and probably more so.

The thing that stands out and shouldn't surprise many of you veteran draft guys is that he has only 23 1st round worthy players...but a huge tier of players grouped from rankings 24-47.

There's another big tier right after that also has 2nd round worthy talent....so it spills into the 3rd round.

That means, at least according to him, there is a ton of flexibility in who you pick in the 2nd - 3rd rounds.

From McShay ESPN Tier article

"We have ranked prospects for the 2015 NFL draft since last summer, and are providing our final update with our Top 300 on Wednesday. But another tool that I find valuable every year is our draft tier rankings, which identifies the different levels of talent drop-off in this class. This can help when comparing players who are close to each other in the rankings. It also helps with predicting where players will come off the board during the first three rounds of the draft.

Here are our draft tiers for 2015, covering players with first-, second- and third-round grades (which are in parentheses next to each player's name):"

Tier 1
This is the elite class of prospects in the 2015 NFL draft. They should be starters from day one and project as perennial Pro Bowl players.

1. Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State (Grade: 97)
2. Leonard Williams, DE, USC (96)

Tier 2
A notch below the elite class, but still worthy of a top-10 pick in most drafts.

3. Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama (94)

Kevin White, WR, West Virginia (93)
5. Dante Fowler Jr., DE, Florida (93)
6. Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon (93)
7. Brandon Scherff, G/T, Iowa (93)
8. DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville (92)
9. Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia (92)

Tier 4
These players carry late first-round grades.

10. Arik Armstead, DE, Oregon (91)
11. Randy Gregory, OLB, Nebraska (91)
12. Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State (91)
13. Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford (91)
14. Danny Shelton, NT, Washington (90)
15. Breshad Perriman, WR, UCF (90)
16. Cameron Erving, C, Florida State (90)

I'm sure in the real world, these tiers would be a bit more detailed, but it shows the idea anyway.

Dupree and Beasley fall into Tier five, aka second round value picks?

Ooookkkk

Yeah, seems a bit much to me.
If they're there at 27, I think I'm taking them vs trading down...lol

I'm sure out tiers would be a little smaller than that too.
