The 3rd rated CB at #10?![]()
SI.com has him at no. 1.
PFF has Horn at no. 2.
Can't go by the ratings too much, they're all over the place...

And that's enough to not pick him at #10.SI.com has him at no. 1.

I haven’t been paying attention...is he not a lock to go before us? Cause I’m running to the podium if he’s thereRather take Sewell.
Bingo.Understand, if I'm the one picking the player at no 10 I'm going by what I see and what I think the team needs, not some "expert" ranking...
2 int's over his college career is all I know. Just what we need.Understand, if I'm the one picking the player at no 10 I'm going by what I see and what I think the team needs, not some "expert" ranking...
If Sewell is still on the board at 10, I am sure the Cowboys would get numerous offers for trade and could get Horn later.
I would take Sewell if the trade offers were not that good.
Agreed. Moves Williams to the bench and we have a dominant line at 4 of 5 positions now (Center excluded for now)Pretty sure that I wouldn't be answering the phone if Sewell were to fall to #10. IMO, he's by far the best lineman in the draft and would be a cornerstone at any position along the line for years to come. Hard to pass that up.
yea, the OL used to be gold. now it's just shades of bronze and question marks. my big problem with giving dak all the cash was we have so many other needs and i prefer balance over putting everything into a chosen few.
We certainly don't.Bingo.
Quinn knows a few things about defense I’m sure we don’t lol
Taking Horn over Sewell would be a major mistake.Rather take Sewell.
We certainly don't.
No argument from me.I agree. You don't.
But if we dont discuss mocks we cant hear the internet experts talk about who is a reach and who isnt!Mocks are so dumb.
“well in my mock...”
“who cares, I saw a mock...”
“every mock I’ve seen...”
“So and so was there in 2 out of 3 of my mocks...”
“in my mock, I traded back...”
None of it matters because about the only thing they get right are the first overall pick and even that’s wrong a lot.
I wish draft day would just get here so we can talk about how great we are drafting and I can book my tickets to Los Angeles for next February.
Would you draft JOK at 10 as a safety? If Sewell or Slater or Pitts are on the board and we take Horn I’ll throw something
1. Lawrence
2. Wilson
3. Jones
4. Pitts
5. Chase
6. Smith
7. Lance (Carolina trade)
8. Waddle (Detroit trade)
9. Surtain
10. Dallas - Jaycee Horn CB South Carolina
Jourdan Lewis is back in Dallas, but the Cowboys still want to upgrade the cornerback position opposite Trevon Diggs. Perhaps it's Virginia Tech's Caleb Farley, though his back procedure might cause concern. Instead, I'm tabbing Horn, a speedy and versatile press corner. The Cowboys gave up 34 passing touchdowns last season, so expect them to address that area here -- unless they opt to help protect the $160 million man, QB Dak Prescott, with one of the class's top tackles.
