McShay on DT Chris Jones

I was reading through ESPN the magazine (horrible but it comes with the online subscription) and Melly Mel and Todd Todd Todd Todd do a mock together. In it McShay has Chris Jones going 29th to the Cardinals and says....

In a class loaded with DTs (I see seven 1st rounders) Jones may be the most gifted.

People like to give McShay crap but he was all over Randall Cobb much earlier and much more than anyone else and we see how that turned out. So he does hit on a few.

I just thought that was noteworthy as Jones wouldn't be in most top 5s at the position.

He has moved up boards.....I saw him as a third rounder originally, sucks now that he probably gets pushed into second.

Seven 1st Round DTs. Exactly why a trade down could pay off huge, 2nd rounders are going to shine on the DL in 2016.

Chris Jones has always been underrated since coming out of high school, so people sleeping on him doesn't surprise me.
