It's interesting that Michael Bennett is not listed.

But I still want Ereck Flowers to drop to the 27th pick. Wishful thinking on my part.

Can someone explain to me the credentials of Todd McShay and why people care what he thinks?

I've never understood it.

How would you feel about Cedric Ogbuehi in the second round?

Stasheroo, I would love it. My only concern is his torn ACL.

Can he bounce back from that? He played right tackle before and I feel he would solidify an already good offensive line.

I would too. And I think we would be getting first round value in the second round as a direct result of injury.

We've shown a willingness to do that before with Both Sean Lee and Bruce Carter so the precedent is there.

I think it would be great if we could essentially 'redshirt' a first round talent to provide depth and eventually take over at RT next year or thereafter.

I respect anyone who works the draft year round. McShay has played the game, he's been a part of Scouts Inc. for years. I fail to see why he would have no credibility. I guarantee he's watched this group of players more than anyone reading this.

That's not to say you should agree with everything he says but to dismiss him as some hack with no credentials is just wrong.

McShay lives the draft. I respect that. A guy like Bryan Broaddus, who decides every January to start watching some film and learning the names of players so he can answer draft questions in couple of weeks. That I do not respect.

It's nothing personal against you as I appreciate you taking the time to share the information. It's just that my opinion of Todd McShay is just not very high. I've seen far too many of his highly-regarded players turn out to be flat-out busts.

I think it's one thing to 'put time in' and yet another to actually be able to identify talent. I've never seen a time where McShay has ever 'nailed it'.

That's a fair point, and if Broaddus was that good, he'd have a job with a team. But, as I said, McShay has never impressed me and I'm still not sure why anyone would listen to what he has to say, especially based on his track record.

It's always felt to me that ESPN just brought in 'another guy' to disagree with Kiper and give ESPN that controversy they so desperately crave.

So who do you respect then, Stash? Because they all miss and miss badly.

What NFL team hits on all their draft picks? Then why would you expect any draft analyst to be so perfect?

I think both Kiper and Mayock are significantly better than McShay.

And as I avoid ESPN whenever I can, Mayock's analysis is the one I prefer.

I do not understand how a WR that is as limited as Smith gets this kind of grading. He is fast but is hardly a polished product. Some team might reach on him in the first, but I thought these grades were based on how the pundit views their talent.

phillip dorsett at 32? holy senior bowl over reaction

Brugler was talking a bit about this on the Draft Show. He was saying that eventually there'd be talk of him going in the late first because of his speed and Senior bowl performance.

My first reaction is that I wouldn't touch 5'9-1/2" WR in the 1st, but then I think of DeSean Jackson. Dorset and Jackson are the same height and Dorset weighs 14 pounds more than Jackson did at the combine.

Small and speedy WR's aren't such a crazy concept once you take away the DB's ability to touch the WR....Hell, the NFL's leading WR is listed at 5'10 186...TY Hilton is another great example. I can definitely see it becoming more and more of a trend unless the rules are tweaked back to normal(ish)

I think Devin Smith is one of the more promising players in this draft class. I think he will be a solid player. I don't think he will go top 24 but I think whoever takes him will be very happy. It is a deep WR class this year. But, he has the potential to be one of the better WRs of this draft. No one knows what will happen. Just have to wait and see.
