I'm a fan of Jabril Peppers but #5 overall is waaaaay too high for him. And the projections of him playing LB at the next level in anything more than nickel or dime role is silly. He's not even of tweener size ala Deone Buchanon or S'ua Cravens; he goes ~6', 205-215.
He is a Saftey in the NFL and will be a bigger, stronger, faster version of Tyrann Mathieu. I think he's one of the most sure fire picks in the draft. In today's NFL players with Pepper's versatility are incredibly sought after.
I don't know where he fits in the draft yet (It's too early) but Wow, he is an impressive player.

He would be best in a multiple defense that features that kind of player. That is not a Marinelli trait.

That could be true; although, the change in DB coaches seems to have added a little creativity.

A college LB that will play Safety in the NFL but could almost play CB is intriguing. It reminds me a little of Darren Woodson who was a college LB but played Safety in the NFL and covered slot WRs.

He will likely go too high to make it worth it for the Cowboys, but it would be fun to have that type of player at SS.

I would not be too upset with this pick but I would want to get him maybe in the 2nd in a trade down though. Many people believe from what I read is that he is playing out of position in Stanford scheme. He is young but has great upside according to some reports. He is also RKG. But as we all know, opinions due vary.

Hopefully more than one QB goes before our pick. The more QBs and RBs that go off the board the better.

Let them. Foreman is overrated and will suffer due to the Giants horrible Oline.

He did pretty good behind a horrid Texas Oline, I think you underrate him. I'd hate for him to go to the Giants. 249 with quickness and speed

At the very least Texas may have the best OT in next years draft. Not to mention Big 12 is not know for defense. Some good defensive players make come out the conference but in terms of team defense? Horrible. Giants have the worst starting left tackle in the NFL and hes their best Lineman. If they want to use their pick on a player they could potential get in the 2nd then let them. I won't be upset if they reach. Now Dalvin Cook or Fournette on the Giants would piss me off.

Yeah. Definitely earned some $ with last night's performance. Completely dominated the LOS.

I would hate for them to get another bruiser back. Sucked watching Jacobs convert those short yardage conversions against us.
