You don't have to run a complicated offense to be effective.

A few things the Rams do to help Goff that should help Dak.

Get up to the line quickly so coach can talk to the QB longer-

Almost always have a wr in motion- can help Dak identify coverages.

Rams almost always run some type of play fake- sometimes it's not a fake, sometimes multiple fakes. Dak was really good at selling the run in 2016.

They run the same plays in different formations. Always some misdirection, always building from a play or setting another play up.

Change routes- don't make it easy for defenders to know what you are running. Simple concepts that could help Dak.

If McVay had Dak, he'd cut him and find another quarterback.

McVay isn’t Garrett and Linehan and Goff isn’t Dak.

Linehan used plenty of play action for Dak. They just don’t have the passing options with the QB and our passing game uses little motion and deception even prior to Dak, with Romo, because Garrett sucks and also with Dak, the offense got to be dumbed down, because Dak doesn’t process the field quickly.

I was impressed with Goff last night, Cousins as well. The QB position is most critical to success in today's NFL and the Cowboys don't have one. Coaching matters, but is useless without talent to execute.

Yup. Every big play was off play action tonight.

Of course. Since Gurley is back there the LBs get held up and it's momentarily 4 defenders against 3 WRs. One of them is usually open. You just a QB to hit that target.

Watching McVay's success really makes me pissed at Bruce Allen. We had the next great coach on our staff and we're still messing around with this loser Gruden.

Agreed. But changing players is more of an off season discussion. There is talent on this team, gotta find a way to use it.

They almost always have their best receivers on the field and don’t waste time with TE’s....

We gotta figure out who are Best 4 WR’s are and scrap the TE’s on the majority of our plays..

Spread them out, give it to Zeke and Then eventually go play action Deep!!!

I can run this offense better on my Video game..

Agree 100%! The coaching changes will be an off season happening as well.
