Nice. I think I may be done buying guitars unless I finally find a cutaway acoustic that fits my bill.
My buddy just bought an Fender American Elite Series Strat HSS. That is what I wish I would have purchased. I knew better, but figured between my Ibanez (2010 RG-2550E Presitge) and Les Paul (2016 Les Paul Standard), a more traditional Strat would be the better option. Nope, I want the HSS. I've thought about selling the 3S, (2014 American Deluxe) but it's still a fantastic guitar as it is. I will just deal with it until I come across an incredible deal on a mint condition HSS.
I never really played an SG. I kind of don't like the way they look though. Part of my guitar purchases are because not just that they play well, but that they are beautiful works of art. The Les Paul >>>> SG in the looks category.
I would think the comfort in playing the SG might have the advantage. The squared off edges and huge bulk high up on the fretboard make the LP less comfortable to play compared to my strat or my Ibanez RG.
