I have a buddy who had a heart attack a few years ago. He's not young, but he's not an old man yet. He only eats rabbit food now. He can't coach football anymore. Can't down a cold one anymore, not even for the Super Bowl. It really made me ponder my lifestyle and wonder if I too would have to live in rabbit food hell if I didn't change my diet soon.

But I'm realistic, not gonna happen. I love meat.

The only solution I can come up with is to eat as much fried food and dark meat as possible so that the first heart attack is a dandy and ends it all immediately.

It is portion control I have lost 22 lbs in 4 weeks now and it is not from eating all rabbit food. I have eaten steak;fish;chicken. and pork. I ate BBQ this week and a Burger and still lost 4 lbs this week.

What I did differnt I did not order that triple chesse burger I got the regular (I went to Wendy's) and instead of fries I knocked down a side salad and stay away from regular cokes do Diet or tea

When we went to smokey bones I ate sausage and pulled pork I took some home and I again got healthy side items and skipped things like fries

Try to eat more grilled meat and less fried meat one way to keep from eating all the steak you order is to have them box up 1/2 of it before they even give it to you to go.

Bread yes it is good to eat but eat whole grain when you can (wheat,oat etc and do not eat the whole dang basket at the Blackeye Pea ask for a few rolls) Whataburger you can get a wheat bun get it and skip the fries it is the little things that will help.

Eating all Rabbitt food is not any more healthy you need meat;cheese; bread;fruits and vegatables.

Go to like Jason Deli get a sandwhich with a side of fruit instead of the chips. Reduce your sugar intake (sodas cakes and things like that) and do not get a dessert all the time Diabetis is on the rise and a lot of it is trigger by being obesi and way to much sugar. Yes you can have deserts just not as many as we tend to do.

Hey I am on my way down to being slim again I shooting for at least another 33 lbs and may try to get back to my college wait before I tore up my ankle which would be another 10 lbs.

Yes I am doing a diet but it is not just about the diet; I am working on a lifestyle change and it has become real easy real quick. The best part I lost 18lbs not being able to even work out since I tore my hamstring muscle 4 weeks ago. I was able to do my 1st real aikido pratice for the first time in 4 weeks last night and I will start my weight training back up this next week yay.

I hope everyone takes it to heart because if you have kids it is important for them and you

I'm trying to get back to my original weight of 7lbs 8ozs :D

That's similar to what I did three years ago.

I cut my soda pop intake by about 70 percent and cut out french fries completely.

I lost about 20 pounds just doing that.

I still like the double-meat burgers though. I also get the side salad at Wendy's instead of fries.
