I actually like Meat Loaf's music. Can't beat "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights"

Yes he is from the Metroplex, and he went to college for a while here in Lubbock (Lubbock Christian)

Did he perform his hit "I would do anything for love" or whatever it was titled? Seems like the TO jersey would fit that song pretty well.

Marvin Aday (Meatloaf) lived here in Redding for about 10 years during his hiatis from music. He coach the girls softball team at the local HS, his daughters were on the team.

About 15-20 years ago I bought a used couch from him. Really nice and down to earth guy.

He had a birthday party at a little place called the Georgetown Saloon...Richie Blackmore (Deep purple, who also lived here), Jose Feliciano who lives in the next town over, Keith Richards who's in the same town as Keith...All of them Jamming on a stage in a place that only holds 70-80 people.

Props go to Jim Steinman.

Without him, Meatloaf is just a sloppy joe.
