I don't really see how that has anything to do with one pump fake being considered a good play by the QB and the other considered a blown coverage.

I see all of this grousing as a self-esteem issue with fans. This is the same argument about who is better - Romo or Eli.

It all boils down to which pony you have in the race.

There opinions do not matter. Frankly, neither do ours.

Just win and it all takes care of itself.

I just watched NFLN network talk about how Dallas TD's were due to blown coverages. Then they went to praise TB for their running game. I know our boys looked bad on D but could the same be said about TB running game. Maybe the boys defensive linemen were just out of sinc resulting in TB running success. If TB was successful against our secondary then ok. But I know our run D is better than what we saw that day! Just the same old media double standard!!!

All these guys on TV end up talking out of both sides of their mouth, just the nature of the business. These guys will also bash Roths for holding the ball too long and then praise him for holding the ball so long.

True, but a few teams were starting to make gameplans, like the Giants, Lions, Rams, & Browns which helps explain some of their success during the 50s.

It was harder to do though without game films and the ones they had were not exactly NFL Films quality. One camera, usually held by an equipment guy or a scout or a family member. Still, guys like Brown and Landry and Sid Gillman would pour over those grainy, shaky films looking for anything they could use for the next time they played that team.

If Teddy Roosevelt were working for NFLN I might agree. But jocks respect rings.

Fans need to get a grip on tye fact that until this team wins in January and wins it all, thereb will be people who feel they aren't the best.

In the final analysis, it doesn't mean shate to a tree, as the Jefferson Airplane once sang.

This is a game about disguise. The defense tries to disguise what exactly they are doing so the offense will make mistakes, miss assignments, make bad decisions, etc. The offense tries to disguise what they are doing so the defense can get out of position, create mismatches, and blow coverages.

I'm not sure why people, especially the media can't comprehend that. It's only been going on for the last 30+ years.
