Tyrone Crawford expected to sign his rookie deal...that leaves the Cowboys top three picks left, including Morris Claiborne.

Stephen Jones said he would anticipate more getting done this week. Key to Claiborne deal is picks around him in top 10 getting done too.

Offset language in those deals likely holding things up.

we had no second rounder. we used that to move up for "clay". crawford was our 4th rounder i think. Wilber was our 3rd i think.

Crawford was technically our 2nd pick, in the 3rd round. Wilber and Johnson were our 4th round picks

Yeah he can't come of the PUP list until after week 6, lucky for us he would only miss 5 games with the early bye week.

I believe they changed that rule and allow one guy early. There was some report awhile back about it.

Prior to last CBA PUP worked like this.

The Active PUP is for players that have some form of injury that will prevent them from starting training camp.

If placed on Active PUP, a player can rehab and participate in team meetings but cannot practice.

A player has to be placed on Active PUP before he begins training camp, so that's why you're seeing the stories popping up now.

A player on Active PUP can be removed from the list at any time during camp.

A player on Active PUP counts against the league mandated roster limit (currently 80).

And one of the most important rules, a player must be on Active PUP in order to be considered for Reserve PUP.

At the end of preseason, if an Active PUP player is still several weeks away from being able to play, the team may place him on Reserve PUP.

Reserve PUP players are not eligible to play for the first six weeks of the season.

Reserve PUP players do not count against the 53 man roster.

Now did the last CBA cause major changes? That has been rumored but I didn't find them.

I checked it was the IR rule that was changed, not the PUP. Now one player hurt during the season can be brought back after six weeks.

Um I like to be excited too but...it's June. Revis is still Revis and we don't know who Carr or Clairborne are yet but I guess it's okay to take it for now.

Remember offenses still dominate defenses.

They are saying he is looking the sharpest in Camp so far.....still early though
