He is 6-0, 232. That probably takes him off the board or at least pushes him way down for 3-4 teams. For 4-3 teams he is probably only seen as a WLB. It might seem like only a few pounds but he probably bulked up as much as he could prior to the combine; whereas Shazier at 6-1, 237 last year probably came in on he low size weight wise in order to run as fast as possible.

I think he's a Will only in this scheme who could be emergency Mike behind Mcclain and Hitchens. I guess he could play some nickel LB with Lee, but if I'm drafing a B/U Will and coverage LB, I'm drafting Shaq. You could probably trade down to get him also.

Yes, if you could afford to use Shaq as a specialty player he would be great in that role of coverage LB, IMO.

In the draftnik world, maybe.

A lot of these players in these mocks that are stone cold locks for the first round will not be there in a few weeks.

Happens every year.

I recall years ago Brandon Browner was considered a first round pick around this stage in the process and he ended up going undrafted and had to go to Canada.

I actually remember that, too. I was stunned when Dallas kept passing on him. Guess I shouldn't have been since everyone else did, too.

Even at CB Kevin Johnson is the only guy I like at 27, and it doesn't seem like he is likely to be there. I don't like Peters at all, and Williams and Jones I both like after a trade back but not at 27.
