Not that I think it's a big deal, but why would we already be practicing in the thanksgiving game helmets? In a way that basically says you're looking ahead to that game, though there may be some good reason for wanting to practice in them that I'm not considering.

As always, thank you for your efforts WG, much appreciated!

I think they always practice in the throwback helmets the week before Thanksgiving because they don't practice as much during the week of Thanksgiving.

It allows the equipment staff extra time to make sure the helmets properly fit the players.

Maybe they are just trying to break in the helmets.
and this! They do this every season so the equipment mgrs can make any adjustments and get the players comfortable wearing them...

They are practicing in them to break them in since they are different than their normal helmets. They did the same thing last week for a day or two.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to be a conspiracy theorist. I didn't think about the fact that the helmets need worn in and they won't practice much the week of the thanksgiving game. =) All I meant is practicing in those helmets means the players have no choice but to subconsciously think about the thanksgiving day game, unless of course they don't even know that's the day they're wearing them which might be the case, lol. They probably just don't care and just put on whatever helmet they're given.

Not only did Jimmy Saddler-McQueen rejoin the team without me noticing, but he also had quality snaps against the Giants?
