are they any better than us average fans.i bring up Forbes and Mcdonald who most of us thought were better than their peers but the media guys were fixated on their size ignoring production.they thought Van Ness was better than Mcdonald which was the shocking evaluation for me,its like they give more importance to size and length than tape.

Like all too many here, media talking heads are fixated on measurebles. But then a fair number of GMs are the same way. Look at all the boneheaded but big and big arm qbs taken over the years that were busts.

My biggest issue with the media and the mock drafters in particular is the copy cat syndrome. When one Person mocks a particular player in a range everyone else soon follows. So if a player isn’t trendy he doesn’t appear on the mocks or at least not where he should
