Media Tensions against Dallas

With the weekly onslaught of media debates, controversy, trade Romo, all kinds of certainty that the media has declared the Prescott/Romo debate to be finished, remember this.

Whatever happens, Dallas has a Top Ten quarterback under center, with a Top Ten quarterback ready to go off the bench. This is really good, very few teams in history have two proven Top Ten quarterbacks. So of course the anti-Cowboys media is just trying to create more tension, just to mess with the Cowboys.

I'm enjoying this season, whatever happens at QB.

And much to the chagrin of the national media, both Tony and Dak are standup guys who are team-first and have been saying/doing all the right things. The rest of the team has followed suit as well.

A few weeks ago, Louis Riddick on ESPN said it's NOT a "good problem to have" because of the tension it will create within the locker room.

Sorry, Louis. You underestimated the chemistry and unity of the 2016 Dallas Cowboys.

Well so far it hasnt been a problem, the problem comes if and when the take dak out and put romo in, that is when
it will be a potential mess.
having tony for a bkup # 2, is great, but unless dak gets hurt he should not come in.

I think they may be inclined to insert tony as starter for last 2 games and playoffs, even if dak is 13-1

Keeping Tony as a backup has a hidden problem that I haven't heard anyone talk about. If you make Romo the backup, you have to keep all 3 QBs active for gameday meaning you will lose a special teamer or rotational guy. The reason I say this is because if Dak were to get hurt, you can't just have Romo at QB. What happens if he only last 3 plays again? Sanchez will have to be active as well in case Romo breaks in short order again.

Putting Mark Sanchez on the practice squad is not bad But I see your point, and although its debatable, i don't think Romo being too fragile is that much of a liability.

Sanchez is not even close to being practice squad eligible. The liability comes from having to have 3 QBs active thus losing a rotational player. it would be a huge risk to go into a game with only Romo behind Dak because nobody knows at this point what is going to happen to Romo any time he gets hit or hits the turf. He could break at any time so if Dak is already hurt, they would be in serious trouble.
