KJJ seems to be trying to fill a void left by some of the more popular Dak over Dallas fans that don’t post anymore.
I wouldn’t be trying to make this about me. There isn’t any Dak over Dallas fans here. The ones who have left are disappointed in the team. You try and make everything about individual posters and Dak. It’s all part of your agenda.

What's the percentage or chances of getting the first pick in the draft? We need a realistic goal for the end of the season. I give the Cowboys' chances of making the playoffs 0% so let's move on to what is best for the franchise going forward.
so we are competing with
Carolina,
Giants
Raiders
Patriots
Browns
Jaguars,
Titans
Saints

thats a lot of bad teams. you have to suck really bad to get there and given current situation, we do have a 10% chance. IMHO

Yes, there are a lot of bad teams this year. We won't get to that #1 pick but if we could somehow get around pick 5 or so then that would work. I will continue to root for Dallas to win every game this year because I can't bring myself to root against them. However, the best thing for the team's future is to lose and get better draft picks since our incompetent GM only likes building through the draft. The sad thing is that I actually have tickets to the Cowboys/Bengals and Cowboys/Panthers games in December. Going with wife and friends to both games so I can't bail on the games at this point. At least I got tickets to Cowboys/Bengals at regular costs due to my friend knowing a season ticket holder and the Cowboys/Panthers tickets in Charlotte are free due to that friend working for a company in Charlotte that has season tickets to Panthers' games. Travel, hotels, and food will be the big costs. That and watching the Cowboys play.

Thanks, you just gave me a new perspective. I have been mad about attending these 2 games based on how the team has been performing and the costs involved. I need to be more appreciative because not everyone gets to see their favorite team play. Hopefully one day you will get the opportunity to see the Cowboys in person. Thanks again for setting me straight.

While we are here watching the game thru the tv (and yes we are mad about losing) , you are in the stadium , breathing the air , living the full experience !

IMHO , Losing is part of the Game . Yes it sucks , but its the game .

Great to hear you will attend !

This looks like a season ending injury to me. The forces that be are trying to tell Jerry something. "This is not your year."

The problem is Jerry now has his built in excuse for the dismal performance of his team. He doesn't have to take the blame he can blame injuries, even though we know this team was bad before the injuries.

the problem is our brilliant GM totally screwed up. he signed Dak to a 4 year contract which he can't get out of until after the 3rd year. so drafting a QB might be a long shot, if he is willing to have the QB sit on the bench for a couple of years (whether we like it or not, that's what would happen). instead this GM thinks we are close and need a RB and will probably draft a RB in the top 5 and then sign one big name second level FA who is older and claim we are superbowl contender.

he does not know how to build a team. he doesn't know how to draft based on past two drafts. and he shuns FA.

so I don't hold any hope of this thing turning around and getting better anytime soon.

Trey chants ahould begin at the stadium.

MM needs to be fired if he keeps starting Rush, if he sucks this next game.

Dak may never be the same after this injury. We seen how slow and reluctant he was to run after breaking his ankle.
For the life of me, I don’t know why Jerry gave him the money. Other than a wedding present, I can’t imagine. Lol.
